So I’ve this for over a week now and it has become the only thing I have been using for vaping. I don’t even bother with the USB passthrough anymore because the vaping is that good on the SD MkII, and the battery life also so long, that I don’t need to use anything else. My main gripes with the unit are the button coming loose VERY easily and the juice that came with the package. The button has been designed to be easily removed so that it can be replaced or for cleaning etc However it comes loose so easily that I was finding myself tightening it once every hour and worrying that I was going to drop it and the spring that sits just under the button. At one stage it nearly did drop off and I was lucky I caught it in time. To fix this, I added some craft glue to the under side of the button, where it attaches to the screw. The craft glue won’t bind with the metal, so I can unscrew it if I need to but it has given the button much more grip and it hasn’t come loose since. The other thing is the juice, it’s the TW 24mg Tobacco flavour and it tastes horrible. It’s not the worst flavour in the world but by comparison with all the other flavours available, it is the last choice I would have made to be the one in the box. It is so bad that had I not tried other TW flavours, I would be seriously hesitant about buying other TW liquids. Luckily I know that every other, albeit a couple here and there, TW flavour is absolutely wonderful. It is curious to me why this flavour was used …

Have you had an issue with the spring in the top coming out? My MKII stops working occasionally as the spring has come loose and I often have to re position it in the green plate behind the rubber gasket.
@sophiamckenna Hi. Yes it comes with it, along with the one for going around your neck. The most important one of course is the one you mentioned, which protects the button from being pressed when you are not using it.
where did you get the string to hold your cap so you dont lose the cap when your vapping? Does the string come with it? Thanks for the great video.
Camel is WAY better than Tobacco. I vaped Camel for about 4 months without any complaints.

@dido181 totally wicked sells the 901 to 510 adapter on their site, or just google search 901 to 510 adapter, youll find them for cheap. happy vaping!

UPDATE: Still using this device as my main vaping unit. I occasionally use the USB passthrough and now I have a KR808D-1 as well for using Cartomisers but for when I am using a 901, 801 or 510 atty, the SD MkII is the device I use.
My current favourite atomiser is a BE112 (like a 801), see my BE112 review for that.

Hi.. yes and no. Apparently none of them come properly tightened. The manufacturer says that you need to grab a flat bladed screwdriver and insert it into the bottom of device (you’ll see what I mean if you had one) and then tighten it properly. No need to overdo it but it needs more grip than your inserted finger could provide.

Hi! That’s a great question.. it would seem like it is very different to a smaller ecig but in reality it is identical in that respect. The difference with the SD (and other large mods) is that it provides power for a longer period of time, at the optimal voltage for a longer period of time. I can get 24 to 36 hours out of a single charge (without changing the battery). Try doing that with a small ecig..
Identical in the amount of nicotine you get though.
Do you find that you feel better now that you are not smoking? I bought the Blu ecig and have been using it for a few days. I am not smoking regular cigarettes now and feel better. I worry that the monster vaporizers might take that away. What do you think?

I’ve only ever had the Nicotine “rush” twice when vaping. There’s certainly nicotine in there but it’s not spurred on by other chemicals to break down quickly and efficiently into your bloodstream.
With traditional cigarettes, one ingredient that Big Tobacco add is “amonia”. This, along with other chemicals, is used to increase the speed at which the nicotine is absorbed and broken down, resulting in a “rush”.
So yes there is nicotine in the liquid but there’s usually no “rush”.
Does vaping give you a nicotine rush at all? or is it just smoke?
